Annie Gestroemi at White with RamponiCreated with the aim of highlighting and giving visibility to young talents in the world of fashion, winner of the tenth edition of Premio Ramponi is Annie M. Fabbioni, who debuted at White with the new Annie Gestroemi collection.
The shoe as an object of desire, from total black to the showy colours of pop floral embroideries, from the sexy lines of strappy sandals to the basic lines of boots and sabots with architectural Plexiglas heels… The tenth edition of Premio Ramponi rewarded the ultra-feminine proposal and fertile creativity of designer Annie M. Fabbioni, offering her brand the possibility to exhibit at the Milan prêt-à-porter showcase of White this past 16 to 18 June.
Born in Fermo, but Milanese by adoption, Annie M. Fabbioni has succeeded in combining her architectural studies, a talent for design, and a passion for travelling the world into an absolutely original proposal, with shapes and volumes that reveal her spirit, while harmonizing the various disciplines of design, sculpture, painting, art and architecture. Premio Ramponi gave the young designer a unique opportunity to promote her brand and introduce it to fashion industry professionals attending the Milan tradeshow, who showed a clear interest in her proposal.
This is how the tenth edition of Premio Ramponi reinforces its values and goals, continuing to support designers and their projects in the essential phases of exhibiting and marketing: “We have arrived at our tenth edition and thanks to the collaboration of everyone, we are developing a rich and rewarding itinerary – commented Alfredo Ramponi, founder and director of the company – Premio Ramponi is part of a more extensive project that has the aim of promoting the growth of designers with the aim of creating a new dialogue on product culture”.
Leader in the sector of accessories, Ramponi bases its activity on a mix of ethics and business. Its products, synthetic crystals and ABS studs for apparel and accessories, are masterpieces of Made in Italy craftsmanship and fruit of constant research, expertise, and selection.
With the acquisition of Astarte, Ramponi set into motion a new production programme that quickly became a point of reference for customers interested in products and accessories made using natural materials, which are 100% eco-friendly and destined for high quality and premium productions. This project of social responsibility soon saw the active involvement of outside partners: markets, economic partners, suppliers, customers, and consumers… in a continuous process of communication that will also involve the new embroidery department to be inaugurated in September, allowing new processes in the leather goods/footwear and apparel segments to be developed. Each new creation will be protected as industrial property, as part of an exclusive guarantee that protects against unfair business practices and dumping.
As always, for Ramponi, the aim is to ensure excellence in its collections, while respecting the needs of businesses and the principles of good business practices, as stated in the Code of Ethics and Organisational Model for risk prevention it has adhered to since 2014.
Talent Network once more opens its doors
The spin-off of the Premio, now in its tenth edition, will showcase amazing clothing, shoes and bags created by designers with Ramponi materials. This year focusing on the theme of “the future of decoration” and a major new development: some of the Premio’s participants, as well as its designers, will also be able to showcase their work at Milano Unica (10/12 July), Première Vision (19/21 September) and Lineapelle (25/27 September), becoming an integral part of this initiative to encourage new fashion.
