The third edition of Co-shoes & Accessories, workshop dedicated to promoting the quality production of Spanish footwear and leatherwear manufacturers

coshoes_02The third edition of the workshop organised by FICE (Spanish Federation of Footwear Industries) was held in Alicante at the IFA (Instituciòn Ferial Alicantina) from 5 to 6 October 2016. The aim of Co-shoes & Accessories (www.coshoes.es) is to promote and boost the productive capacity of the Spanish footwear industry among Spanish and foreign brands that want to create high quality products. The event attracted professionals from the industry such as designers and representatives of clothing and footwear brands, online fashion start-ups and footwear start-ups from Spain, Italy and Denmark, among others. Slowwalk, BioStep, Menorquina d’Estiu, Calzados Subiran and Pilar Monet participated in the workshop, as well as INESCOP, who proposed its range of services dedicated to innovation, quality certification, laboratory analysis, etc. The event, held in conjunction with Futurmoda, is one of the largest in Southern Europe thanks to an exhibition area of 10,000 square meters, 340 exhibitors (25 of those in the Co-shoes section, of which 1/4 are new) and about 5000 visitors.
