Nuova Icos was founded in 1970 by the brothers Vincenzo and Noè Famiglietti, in the heart of the tanning district of the City of Solofra, in love with the art of tanning.

In 1990 the company moved to its new plant in Carpisano, where, thanks to considerable investments in tanning technology, it was able to expand its range of products for the footwear, leathergoods and clothing sectors.

Nuova Icos is today an industrial reality with a strong artisan vocation, able to position itself in an important position in the supply chain of the Italian and international fashion system, thanks also to its attention to quality, raw material traceability, metal free tanning and sustainability in general.

The company has also an internal laboratory and qualified technicians to carry out the main physical tests, and ensures compliance with the law on prevention and safety at work, ensuring working environments and ethical conditions.

Nuova ICOS extends the concept of quality to every aspect of the company’s activity in order to improve the company’s competitiveness and its impact with respect to the reference market and all possible interlocutors.
