Davos innovates and respects the environmentProposals for the upcoming summer season are characterized, on the one hand, by the strong will to innovate and, on the other hand, by a great attention to the environment.
Today Davos is not only a reference point for the production of rubber sheets and soles, but it is also a point of reference for sustainability and innovation.
As for its attention to the environment, the company has always been attentive to the issues of eco-sustainability and recyclability. The production and management unit of Cavaso del Tomba, in fact, is inserted in a top-notch natural-environmental context, and Davos is active in preserving its environment and landscape. Furthermore, the production effort at Davos is not just focused on product quality improvement, but also on the production of compounds and plates that limit or eliminate all harmful factors, according to the criteria indicated by Reach, the California Convention and CADS. These efforts are also reflected in the proposals of Vegan Soles or in the LUXORIT compound (compliant with the strict IPAH parameters) that Davos will present for the S/S 19.
On the innovation front, it is exactly the new collection that arouses interest (some proposals concern the Free Climbing market niche).
The TRISTAR mold, for example, is made with the Special Rubber V1, which is of a very high quality in terms of abrasion resistance and flexibility. A perfect tread for the high-end sneaker market.
The IMPULSE compound (tested by SATRA), on the other hand, has an excellent “memory” and is able to bring the footwear back to its natural position. This is very interesting for shoes like ballerinas, décolleté or high-heeled summer sandals.
