Gruppo Mastrotto, new openings in America and AsiaThe leading European tannery continues with its unstoppable plans for international expansion and opens a new branch in Los Angeles, while reinforcing its presence in the Asian market.
2016 ended on a highly positive note for Gruppo Mastrotto, with a consolidated balance sheet of 451 million euros and EBITDA that rose from 9.5% to 10%: in the wake of these results, the Group continues with its plans for international expansion, with a special focus on America, and the creation of a new branch office and fashion hub in Los Angeles, where stylists and footwear and leather goods manufacturers will be able to access the vast product range of Gruppo Mastrotto Express. At the same time, the Asian market is reinforced through the new partnership forged with the city of Hong Kong and a new exhibition space that will host the company’s range of creative proposals, products, and services.

The new branch office in Los Angeles and the exhibition space in Hong Kong will join the ranks of the nine existing sites located in the Arzignano district of Vicenza, and the plants located in Brazil, Mexico, Tunisia, and Indonesia; production sites and commercial offices that are flanked by the company’s Leather Fashion Hubs strategically placed in the world’s leading fashion capitals, with the most recent openings in Milan and London, preceded by the ones in Dongguan, China and Florence, Italy.
Research and development, and products and services are the strengths of Gruppo Mastrotto, which, thanks to it Style Bureau, continues to constantly invest in the creation and industrialization of new leathers capable of satisfying the fashion needs of its own international clientele. Moreover, the product lines of the group have been extended to include three new proposals: for footwear and leather goods, the Crumbs Colors leather line, with the grain characterized by a slight two-tone effect and soft fabric, features a range of 30 colours. Next is the Embossing on Vesuvio Colors line in 12 different printings that range from geometrical patterns to animalier on soft suede, with a rich assortment of 120 colours available for each printing. For the furnishing sector, there is then the Kairos line in European nabuk leather, which is presented in 21 elegant nuances. Last, but not least, the offering is further enriched by the Gruppo Mastrotto Express leather service, which extends its range of products with more than 1100 readily available colours.
Another key sector for Gruppo Mastrotto is that of environmental sustainability: recognized for its best practices, the international Leather Working Group has granted this Veneto company with one of the most prestigious awards in the sector: the LWG Gold Rated Award, the maximum rating it is possible to achieve in this field.
