Today, the sport, trekking and safety world has a new high-performance fabric at disposal, made by Lenzy by FF Technology.
The name of this product, able to offer high performances in terms of abrasion resistance, tenacity, lightness and flexibility, is HyperTex. Its performances, far outweigh what has been seen so far on the market, are obtained thanks to the Putek Technology, which uses a new concept of threads, directly woven in the fabric.
HyperTex has been appreciated by technical shoes manufacturers, both abroad and, above all, in Italy: “La Sportiva and Montura – Alberto Fenzi, owner of Lenzi by FF, specifies – were the first brands to make an entire mountain footwear line using our fabric. As this technology enables to give life to ultra-resistant products that are also beautiful, nowadays many brands are appreciating its qualities. Crispi and Cofra for example, just to mention a couple of important names”.
One datum is sufficient to specify the quality that thread and fabric can put in place: if during laboratory tests an excellent fabric resists to abrasion tests in 51 thousand cycles on average, HyperTex reaches and exceeds 1 million. The comparative table clarifies the size of the revolution introduced by Lenzi by FF. Considering the timing necessary to complete traditional abrasion tests, it was necessary to use the test method of the EN 388 standard for work gloves, testing with a very aggressive sandpaper, at a maximum pressure of 12Kp.
Results highlighted the fact that HyperTex’s resistance is 6 times higher than Cordura 1000, commonly used for high-performance products. Finally, it is to be noticed that this technology can be easily combined with another innovation proposed by Lenzi by FF, the Perspair jacquard technology, to make functional and very impactful uppers with colour effects and differentiated performances.
