Inspiramais, inspiration for the fashion chain and Brazilian identityInspiramais returns to animate the Pro Magno Events Centre in São Paulo, with its lively exhibition dedicated to design and the innovation of materials for the fashion chain, from 3 to 4 July 2017.
A fair dedicated to research, where creative talents, brands, and styling offices can find inspirations for their collections, taking in the rich offering of fabrics, leathers, synthetics, components, and accessories for the coming winter 2018 season.
Together with the selection of the show, the event will be animated by a series of events and initiatives that will take an in-depth look at issues regarding the world of fashion. There will be a great emphasis on the presentation of the results of the study guided by designer Walter Rodriguez, the aim of which is the manufacturing of fashion products with an extremely strong Brazilian identity. Developed over a one-year period, the research covered twenty or so of the main Brazilian footwear and apparel production hubs, as well as one retail hub, thereby offering an interesting overview of state-of-the-art national fashion.
The Brazilian identity will also be the protagonist at the fair of three projects that explore different aspects of the Made in Brazil production of footwear, accessories, and apparel.
The first is Inovamais, which is divided into three strands: Innovation Aisle, a space curated by Jefferson de Assis, which asks exhibitors to bet on innovation in the development of their products; Innovation Round, with innovative ideas in search of partnerships, bringing companies and universities together; and Talks, the program of meetings with innovation professionals.
There will then be three other events that will offer a preview of the trends for summer 2019: The Leather Preview, Brasilian Reference, and +Prints.
The Leather Preview, the project curated by CICB – the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industries, and Assintecal, the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods, will be aimed at providing a preview of the leather trends. Brasilian Reference will instead seek to encourage the creation of products with a strong Brazilian identity, taking its cue from the expressions of Brazilian contemporary culture, including its art, dance, folklore, food, architecture, nature, ethics craft workmanship, etc… Finally, +Prints will put on show the exclusive prints developed for fashion clothing, outlining the possibilities that modern technology offers design.
