A week of sport and a workshop on the future for ISPOThe international event to be held FROM January 28th to 31st 2018 in Munich will be an opportunity to immerse the city in a week full of events dedicated to the world of sports and to present all the new proposals in the sector and the future where digitalisation will take us
ISPO Munich, the very important event dedicated to buyers and experienced consumers in the world of sports launched back in 1970, will reopen its doors from 28 to 31 January 2018 to present the most important new proposals in the worlds of skiing, outdoor and sports in general.
The wide range of new products, however, will not only concern the products proposed by the more than 2,700 exhibitors and appreciated by about 80 thousand visitors, but will cross the entire city of Munich, which will host the first ISPO Munich Sports Week, a week full of events, meetings and initiatives related to the world of sport.
The week will kick off with the ISPO Munich Night Run, to be held on the evening of 27 January 2018 at Olympiapark. It will then continue with many other initiatives that will take place in the city centre and in many of the specialised chains.
The second all-new event will be the digitalisation of the sporting world and the space dedicated to it inside the fair (Hall 4). More than 1,000 square meters entitled “Digitize by ISPO Academy” where visitors can discover where the digital world is taking us. In fact, the panorama of sporting goods, as well as the commercial sector, has already been contaminated by a strong digitalisation process (see the self-heating clothing or “smart” golf clubs), and this trend will grow even more thanks to technologies that are currently little known. Presentations, seminars, and forums will try to showcase the new concepts, technologies and markets related to digitalisation.
