Lineapelle, the exhibition on materials and components for the 2018/19 winter, has openedLineapelle celebrates its 93rd edition in Milan by outlining the stylistic outlook in leather
The number of exhibitors reached 1,300, with an increasing number of countries represented. These are the numbers for the 93rd Lineapelle (4 to 6 October 2017) held at Fieramilano Rho which presents the commercial and stylistic offer of tanneries, and manufacturers of accessories, components, fabrics and synthetics.
Lineapelle confirms and reinforces the growth trend of previous shows. Exhibitors, in fact, grew by 3.5% compared to the corresponding edition in 2016 and 7% compared to the February 2017 edition. Italian exhibitors also grew (+5%) as did foreign exhibitors (+1.4%) coming from 48 countries. One year ago, it was 44. The exhibiting space has also increased: more than 47,500 square meters, +3.5% compared to September 2016.

Sustainability, with the presentation (Thursday, 5 October) of the latest Sustainability Report of Italian Tanneries in collaboration with ZDHC Foundation. Design, through a workshop (Wednesday, 4 October) held by Stefano Paiocchi, lead architect of the renowned Zaha Hadid Architects. The legal protection of samples through a meeting scheduled for Friday, 6 October.
