Mos Shoes, a complete offering for the new Russian marketThe latest edition of Mos Shoes, held from 10 to 13 September, ends on yet another successful note, proving itself dynamic and perfectly suited to the new Russian market.
The secret to its success can be found in the unique offering of the fair, which is the only one in the world to propose the complete supply chain of products for the industry, allowing buyers to find in one sole location not only fashion products – like footwear and bags – but also leathers, accessories, components, machines and technology. Thus, not only visitors, but also exhibitors, find themselves as the protagonists of a dynamic marketplace in which everyone has something to both offer and purchase at the same time.
In the spaces of the halls of Crocus Expo, 600 exhibitors participated, including collectives coming from Germany, Spain, Brazil, India, China, and Uzbekistan. Italian brands were also included in the selection: from the footwear brands of RelaxShoes, Primigi and Inblu, to the products for footwear of Kenda Farben, the moulds of New Stampi, and the new technologies of Teseo for cutting and of Desma for direct injection…
Great interest was also shown in the areas of Mos Shoes Kid, dedicated to children’s footwear, and MosPel, for leather goods and bags, which saw a significant increase in participation. Next to the product, Mos Shoes inspired visitors through its trend area, developed in collaboration with leading fashion specialists, which featured previews of FW 2019-20 trends as its protagonists.
The fair ended with an extremely impressive final turnout: more than 12 thousand visitors coming from all of Russia’s regions and the CSI area (with a +23% rise in European visitors over the March 2018 edition), and the certainty of an offering that is perfectly suited to a market that has been completely reorganised following its economic-currency crisis.
