The collection of children’s shoes made by LUCIANI LAB/GRUPPO MECCANICHE LUCIANI is inspired by the “inominforma” project of Sergio Carnevali

Craftsmanship, passion and lots of creativity. All this and much more is to be found in the range of children’s footwear presented by Gruppo Meccaniche Luciani on its stand at the latest Lineapelle. The singularity of the collection comes from collaboration with designer Sergio Carnevali, also author of the “inominforma” project that, after years of preparation, now constitutes an articulated system of teaching reading and writing at pre-school age.

The original idea developed back in 1987 by Carnevali is based on designing animals and other objects graphically around the letters of their common names, in such a way as to form the corresponding shape. After the wooden toys have come colouring books and many other teaching aids to encourage children to read and write. Now, with the collaboration of Luciani LAB that has developed prototypes of shoes, the idea has also become a fun collection of children’s shoes together with some coordinated bags, the latter produced by Iommi.
