Première Classe: accessories are fashionableGood business and trendy proposals, in conjunction with Who’s Next
Shoes and bags were not the only protagonists of the fall edition of Première Classe, which was held in conjunction with Who’s Next in the exhibition complex of Porte de Versailles in Paris.
In fact, fashion accessories, from hats to costume jewellery and from umbrellas to scarves, had a much larger space dedicated to them than in the past, even if – obviously – footwear and leather goods maintained their positions as the protagonists, with more than 300 exhibitors present and coming not only from France, but also – for example – from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Great Britain, and Germany.
Accordingly, the next spring-summer collections for all pricing segments were showcased, with a substantial turnout by young designers. Among the leading names exhibiting were Steve Madden, Guess, Chie Mihara, Tamaris, Paradoxale, Schutz, Melissa, United Nude, Tosca blu, and Steve’s, just to name a few; while among the Italian leather goods manufacturers were names of the calibre of Roberta Gandolfi, Innué, Andrea Cardone, Anita Bilardi and Io Pelle.
Many visitors attended, even in greater numbers than past editions. Moreover, there was a satisfactory turnout by European buyers, with a more moderate performance by Japanese and Far Eastern buyers.
The next edition of Première Classe will once again be held at Porte de Versailles from January 19th to 22nd 2018.
