Première Vision Paris: Cloud of fashionPremière Vision keeps on growing in view of the September edition, which will take place from the 19th to the 21st in Paris. Novelty: focus on Tunisia
If cloud is very fashionable in computer science, the fashion and creativity expressed during Première Vision Paris wants to become increasingly cloud, all-inclusive, able to meet the numerous needs of manufacturers. This is the reason why the September edition of the Parisian exhibition keeps on growing and will present 1,961 exhibitors (+3.3% compared to 2016), besides inaugurating a new section dedicated to shoe and bag manufacturers, which will join the other 5 subject areas (yarns, fabrics, leather, designs, accessories).
Among the new collections dedicated to Autumn Winter 2018/19, there will be also those of the 161 new exhibitors and, above all, those of Italians, who, as always, play a major role, taking up 657 stands (followed by Turks with 166 brands).
For the first time, Première Vision Paris organises also a Focus Country, an initiative that will continue also in the future, always during the September edition. For the debut of this format, Tunisia will act as host in the 100 sq. m. area dedicated to it. A way to relaunch the textile sector of the North African country, which will propose a fashion capsule collection – “The National Collection” – designed by Braim Klei.
Another event to mention, which will take place during the trade show, is the 9th edition of the PV Awards. Eight prizes (4 for fabrics and 4 for leathers). Two more than in the past, due to the introduction of the category Fashion Smart Creation Prize, which will award innovative product proposals that will put at the centre of their concept a new notion of responsible fashion. An exceptional jury president: John Malkovich, known actor and director, but also designer of his own men’s fashion brand, founded 6 years ago.
