Première Vision: business, inspiration, and experiencesPremière Vision Paris ended with a turnout of 54,500 visitors coming from 120 different countries, rewarding the innovations proposed at the fair, the quality of the project dedicated to renewing the exhibition areas and forum, along with the success of Wearable Lab & Shoe Manufacturing.
The public of fashion professionals rewarded the renewed formula of Première Visione, with their enthusiastic participation in the event that took place between 13 and 15 February at Paris Nord Villepinte. Well-liked was the selection of 1,725 companies (+1.6% over February 2017), featuring collections of yarns, fabrics, leather, designer items, accessories, and apparel for the summer 2019. All this met up with the approval of the international fashion industry, which was presented with the entire supply chain in Paris. Also popular, however, was the new layout of the shows, with stands designed by the designer Ora Ito, and the renewed information forum. The public also expressed their approval with Wearable Lab’s expansion and the debut of the Bag&Shoe Manufacturing space dedicated to the markets of leather goods and footwear, while the spotlight shined on the rare know-how of Maison d'Exceptions.
“This edition confirmed its continued and unequalled appeal for the sector – were the comments made by the event’s organisers in the closing address – confirming the high level of quality, while registering a slight drop in attendance (-3% over February 2017), which however follows in the wake of two successful editions characterised by growth”.
Among the contents of the event, was a spectacular programme of conferences and seminars dedicated to various sector themes, including the conference dedicated to global supply held by IFM, the master class Smart Creation dedicated to responsible fashion held by Bluedesign, the Galliera Museum’s preview of the exhibition dedicated to Martin Margiela, and the “Dr. Martens revisited by Eugène Riconneaus” show... offering the public opportunities to interact with one another and network.
The renewal and innovation of Première Vision Paris accordingly consecrated the event as a privileged venue for business, inspiration, and experiences.
