esperienze-materiche-di-alessandra-marchi-a-spazio-creativoThe first edition of SPAZIO CREATIVO (held on July 4th and 5th) ended with enthusiasm. The event transformed the Fencing Room of the Fortezza da Basso in Florence into a real interdisciplinary laboratory, collecting ten Made in Italy excellences from the tanning, textile and artisan sectors.

Marco Marchetti of Studio 44, creative director of the event together with the stylist Alessandra Marchi, talks about it this way:

We had a good flow from the sector operators, style offices and agents representatives. They gave us a lot of positive feedback, for the location, the layout and above all for the new concept of ‛creative meeting’. This is above all what all visitors have pointed out to us and what we are proud of.

For two days, in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, the event gave birth to a creative hub where you could confront yourself with the great quality and experience of Italpel tanneries (vegetable skin), Louisiane (reptile and exotic skin), Martucci (light and soft leathers) and Sanlorenzo (quality sheep skin); and companies such as Aròmata (fabrics with exclusive weaves), Leta (quality accessories and components), and Piovese Fashion (customizations, labels and applications); and also of the Duepax laboratories (especially gluing), E.B. Termoadesivi (quilting, needle-punching and embroidery) and Lasermarc (laser cutting or notching).

Product, innovation and spirit of collaboration: these are the values on which SPAZIO CREATIVO is based, well represented also by the exposition Esperienze Materiche by designer Alessandra Marchi, who presented at the event ten garments made over the years in collaboration with various participating companies.

And after the success of the first edition, the winter appointment is planned.
