The next edition of LINEAPELLE is part of an economic situation, which remains extremely complex and uncertain. There are signs of recovery for all sectors which are, however, proceeding in fits and starts.
600 exhibitors from 18 countries have already joined: an important and very encouraging sign.
As in September 2020, a simplified formula will be adopted, with unified stands and solutions that guarantee maximum safety. Inevitably, no one expects the presence of many foreign visitors, especially from Asia. Simultaneously with the physical event, all those digital paths complementary to the physical offer will remain active with a view to the constant development of its dimension as a global reference event for the fashion & luxury industry.

Trend: rediscover the wonder
In addition to the exhibition, LINEAPELLE also launches a stylistic challenge. It concerns the trends for the 2022-2023 winter season which it addresses in the light of a real programmatic manifest summarised by the slogan “Imagination & Re-Wonder”. It is therefore time to “rediscover the wonder, letting imagination and experimentation lead the way”.
A search for positivity that intercepts naturalness and technology, reassuring colours and materials capable of expressing their innovative charge in a futuristic view. Starting with leather and its infinite possibilities for development, combination and experimentation.

Projects and co-labs
The next edition of LINEAPELLE will also be characterised by the synergy with Assopellettieri related to the debut of the Mipel Lab exhibition format, the leather goods sourcing exhibition, which will take place “simultaneously and in partnership with LINEAPELLE, with whom it will also share the spaces”.
LINEAPELLE’s stylistic exploration will address the theme of material innovations combined with technology within the A New Point of Materials space, which involves D-house urban laboratory, a spin off of Dylan and C.L.A.S.S. ecohub.

Any other positive sign? On 1 and 2 September, LINEAPELLE New York will take place in the usual location of the Metropolitan Pavilion, to which 85 companies already adhered.
