C.T. Point, a leading manufacturer of high-tenacity braided, twisted and monofilament yarns in polyester and nylon for footwear, luxury leather goods, upholstered furnishings and other technical sectors, presented some interesting new results at the last edition of Lineapelle in Milan.
Firstly, the new package containing bobbins reduced to just 100 metres of yarn to allow even less structured customers to order the yarn. Small repairers, leather goods manufacturers and shoemakers will now have access to the hand-waxed and metallic (braided and twisted) lines.
Secondly, the development of a particular yarn with a brand protection feature, specifically for the anti-counterfeit world. A yarn that changes colour when placed under a UV lamp and emits a fluorescence of different shades. These shades can be studied ad hoc for each individual customer.
