Constant stylistic and technological research and a high level of versatility characterise the production of Davos, which replies to the needs of a sophisticated clientele in search of new creative inspirations and personalised solutions.
The range of sheets for Thunit soles and insoles, the company’s core business, is proposed in over 800 different kinds of finishes that follow the market’s latest trends. Brand new for Fall/Winter 2020-21 are new varnishings in the most fashionable colours, with a soft hand that is pleasant to the touch. Glittering lines are both varnished and laminated. Moreover, the finishes can be customised in accordance with the customer’s demands, thanks to the hot-stamping process used with soles.
For the winter season, soles for sneakers see the introduction of new reinforcements – Gare and Vision – in different colours. There is then the creation of ad hoc sublimation prints of great impact used on reinforcements and also on the Fiesta rubber sole. Herringbone patterns continue to lead the way in terms of design. Alongside the reinforcements, an extended colour range is proposed for Gripp, the rubber for reinforcements and bands, which can be adapted to suit the productive needs of footwear manufacturers. With this product, there is once again an extensive range of opportunities for creating synergies with brands for the development of customised products.
It is even possible to personalise the highly versatile range of Davos standard products, where the sole itself – which includes for example the Ranger for the safety-army market – can be produced in different rubber compounds in accordance with the market of reference and the needs of the customer: from a wear-resistant Standard compound, all the way to Oil-resistant, Flame-proof, and Antistatic compounds that cover the market of special footwear. Thus, it is possible to find an effective answer to the different sectors of reference.
