The new Davos collection for S/S 2014 is full of options of great impact
Pale and natural colours, with small toning details, never exaggerated, are at the basis of offers from Davos for S/S 2014 that will be shown at Lineapelle in the beginning of April (Hall 21).
Among the most interesting novelties in the collection we find “Newkor”, a special type of finish that, thanks to particular technologies, gives the article the typical veined and milled look of real leather, available in 6 appealing shades from beige to pink.
Also new is “Cromya”, an ultra shiny finish with clouded effect, that comes in three of the colours most popular with trendsetters: pinky-mauve, sea green and azure.
Then “Passion”, a shiny type of patent varnish, mainly on decided colours such as orange, yellow, “calypso”, as well as pink and it is in these tones that the shiny effect is most noticeable. It can be applied to standard or mouldable bases and is usually used for elegant and sophisticated high-heeled shoes, with sparkly details on the uppers.
The new Davos collection has just been shown at Trend Selection of New York on 26 and 27 February last, attracting plenty of interest from the trade:
Many of the articles were taken as samples which promises very well. Obviously the market is currently difficult and very selective but nevertheless seeing a good response to plenty of items in the collection is a more than encouraging prospect for the future
The Trevigiana firm has, in fact, become well prepared in latter years by making continual investments in Research and Development. Proof of this lies in the results: 2012 closed on an up trend in turnover and the first two months of 2013 have also seen a sharp growth on both the domestic and foreign markets.
