The five Brazilian exhibitors (Bolzano, Codina Peles, Courovale, Fuga Couros, and Nova Kaeru), in view of the fair participation, received the support of Brazilian Leather – a project developed by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and the The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) aimed at encouraging national exports of hides and skins.
Expectations are high if you consider the words of Letícia Luft, manager of Brazilian Leather: “The February fair 2020 was the last exhibition attended physically by our tanneries through the project. In 2021 there will be other two major events (ANPIC, in Mexico, and ACLE, in China), and we are ready for the busy calendar of 2022. Lineapelle, in Milan, will be a milestone in this new cycle of trade fairs for the whole market, where we will try to put Brazilian leather into the spotlight”, says Letícia Luft, manager of Brazilian Leather.
There are several strategies introduced by the Brazilian Leather project: encouraging the participation of tanneries in the major world trade fairs of the sector and in commercial missions aimed at strengthening relations between Brazilian suppliers and buyers from other countries.
