Rubber is a natural element which, if worked in an appropriate manner through non-chemical processes, is able to maintain its superior intrinsic characteristics unaltered, ensuring a superior using performance and output compared to other materials.
Infact, compared to plastic soles, which stifle the foot and derive from processing pollutants, the natural “sole crepe” soles have excellent properties:
- Resistant to abrasion
- Very elastic and flexible
- Unalterable in contact with acid, alkaline and saline substances
The processing process that transforms natural untreated rubber into high-quality shoe soles takes place by means of mills, mixers and calenders and is entirely ecological, non-polluting: it does not produce fumes, powders or vapours and any processing residue can be reused in the production cycle.
The whole process of processing natural GEA GOMMA para takes place in Castello d’Agogna, in the province of Pavia, inside the industrial warehouses of the company. The SOLE CREPE product is exported throughout Europe.
