ICF Group, recently listed on the AIM Italia market – organised and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A. – was awarded the prize for the “AIM ESG” category at the AIM Investor Day 2018 organised by IR Top Consulting in Milan, Midnight Palace, headquarters of the Italian Stock Exchange.
Guido Cami, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented this way when he collected the prize:
On my own behalf and on behalf of all collaborators of Industrie Chimiche Forestali S.p.A. I express great satisfaction for the recognition. ICF has always been very attentive to environmental issues both for production processes and for the development of new eco-compatible products. With the quotation process, transparency has been further strengthened towards all our interlocutors. Corporate governance is also highly evolved with 4 independent directors on the board of directors, with a floating shareholding of around 90% and full alignment of interests between investors and the management, which is also a shareholder since I,the undersigned and 11 managers have signed a capital increase at the time of the IPO.
ICF Group, an industrial reality with a century of history, has as its main objective to develop more and more eco-compatible new applications and products in the core business of adhesives and technical fabrics through constant investments in research and development.
The company has been selected by the jury of the “AIM Awards”, composed of the Department for International Trade and IR Top Consulting on the basis of the analysis of the policies and practices of all the companies listed on AIM Italia on Environmental, Social and Governance issues.
