The Brazilian and international fashion market is getting ready for the 25th edition of Inspiramais, the Innovation and Design Exhibition for footwear components and leather goods, clothing, furniture and jewellery industries, which will take place on 25 and 26 January 2022 for the first time in the new location of Porto Alegre/RS. The event, which will see the participation of over 150 national exhibitors, is expected to welcome more than seven thousand professional visitors. More than 50 importers from 10 countries have already confirmed their presence through the International Buyer Project.

This is the first edition of Inspiramais held outside San Paolo/SP, in line with Assintecal’s goal of making the exhibition itinerant, which will take place twice a year. “Inspiramais follows the spirit of the times. We have adapted the format and chosen the location according to the market nees, and we are proud to host the event in Porto Alegre. In this way we emphasise the proximity to the footwear industry, the strength of the clothing and furniture market, and the fact that it is a capital that usually receives businessmen from Brazil and the world”, states Gerson Luis Berwanger, president of Assintecal. Beyond the new headquarters, the review will take place in phygital format, broadcast online all over the world.

The Conexão Inspiramais project will be one of the highlights of the event, which will launch more than one thousand innovative materials on the market for the 2023_I season. The initiative, created in collaboration with Sebrae Nacional, started research one year and a half ago under the supervision of the Inspiramais Design Nucleus, led by the famous designer Walter Rodrigues and has the ability to combine global fashion trends as a unique factor with a focus on the Brazilian market, as well as complete monitoring of product development in the various creative, commercial and communication areas. The goal is to support the creative process of those taking part in the event, also making the set of materials displayed by the 150 exhibiting companies at the stands of Inspiramais available for sale to visitors. Moreover, a programme with over 10 conferences on design and sustainability, with presentations streamed online has been added to the show.

Inspiramais is promoted by the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (Assintecal) in collaboration with the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit), Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), Brazilian Association of Furniture Industries (Abimóvel) and the The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). The Show is part of the By Brasil Components, Machinery and Chemicals programme, in collaboration with Sebrae Nacional.
