There are no excuses for not attending the next physical edition of SIMAC TANNING TECH which will be held from 22 to 24 September 2021.
Exhibitors, and therefore technological innovations, will be present at the fair. The first round of applications was closed with a positive result: more than 200 exhibitor requests, from machinery’ manufacturers and technology providers, to chemical auxiliaries and service suppliers for the Footwear and Leather processing sectors, that will come back to Rho Fieramilano featuring an exhibition area of roughly 9.000 MQ.
Even those who are worried about the health situation and the difficulties of reaching Italy have no excuses. The Organising Secretariat of the Event trusts in the presence of visitors: “We want to confirm this to all international buyers: you can come to Italy, regulations are clear. The European Union and the Italian government have provided specific plans to facilitate activities and business”.
According to the regulations in force in Italy, in fact, all buyers/visitors from authorized countries are allowed to enter Italy for a period not exceeding 120 hours for proven work, health or absolute urgent needs with the obligation to leave the national territory upon expiry of the term.
Moreover, if there is the need to stay on Italian territory for more than 120 hours, the derogation from the obligation of fiduciary isolation and health surveillance for non-deferrable reasons may be granted. The request must be sent directly to the Ministry of Health (email@example.com) which, if successful, will transmit the guidelines which the international buyer must comply with in order to be exempted from fiduciary isolation obligations.
USEFUL TRIP PLANNING TOOLS (FAQ)
The website of the Italian Ministry of Health, in particular the “Novel Coronavirus” page, is an important tool available to visitors, containing all the necessary information and operating instructions.
In particular, the completion of the appropriate European “Passenger Locator Form” is compulsory.
These provisions apply until 30 July, 2021.
Visitors/buyers residing in member countries of the European Union, may use the “EU Digital COVID Certificate”, the digital pass attesting vaccination and/or negativity to COVID.
Finally, special air flights defined as “COVID tested” offer conditions of derogation and exemption from the quarantine needed to enter Italy. The “COVID tested” flights are authorised by the Italian Ministry of Health by means of a special ordinance.
