The theme of Milano Unica, for the next season, will therefore be "Magnificent Passions", chosen from three different stages of sharing: Personal, Social and Planetary. However, all of them are so prevalent that they are now universally experienced as aspirational desires or, in some cases, as pressing needs.
From "Magnificent Passions" originate the trends for Fall-Winter 2022/2023 which, due to lexical modernity, will be called "Stories". A virtual journey to discover the new themes identified by the Milano Unica Style Commission to inspire exhibitors, designers, and industry professionals, a journey through videos, images, and in-depth contents. Personal Passions include Betrayal and Food, while Social Passions include Beauty and Christmas. Finally, Planetary Passions include Ecology and Technology.
The colour chart is also inspired by our "Magnificent Passions", which in the collective imagination are often identified with specific ranges, offering an original and sophisticated interpretation capable of transmitting all the moods, emotions, memories that these passions arouse a personal and global level. This explains the shaded hues of Betrayal that refer to that labyrinth of feelings made up of expectations, transgressions, eros; the rural gradations of a healthy and minimalist diet; the skin-deep nuances of Beauty with the cult of perfect physicality; the festive shades of our childhood hyper-decorative Christmas; the eco chromatisms of Ecology and the colour ranges of the virtual worlds of Technology, increasingly fantastic and electrifying.
